This week testing has been carried out at the VINCI Technology Centre in Bedfordshire on our Flushglaze product range.

Test methods were carried out to US ASTM Standards with the results being used along with engineering information to gain our ICC-EC Report (International Code Council Evaluation Service),  a document that presents the findings, conclusions, and recommendations from a particular evaluation, and verify that new and innovative building products comply with code requirements.

Once we have gained this, we will have what we need for LADBS (Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety) to make our Flushglaze product range compliant for use within Los Angeles.

VINCI Technology Centre combines world leading laboratory testing with expertise in sustainability and a complete understanding of structures. Their multi-disciplinary team provides practical and innovative solutions to the challenges posed by today’s built environment, heritage structures and legacy issues.

This particular testing involved:

  • Uniform load tests to meet AAMA A440
  • Air permeability ASTM E283
  • Watertightness ASTM E331 and E547
  • Wind resistance ASTM E330
