I joined Glazing Vision as a graduate from Hull University in 2014, my initial role was admin support for International Sales. Within 18 months I took on the International Development Manager role and I now look after our European and US distribution networks. My job has taken me all over the world and offered me the chance to develop crucial business skills in a demanding commercial environment. If you’re willing to work hard, Glazing Vision offers tremendous opportunity to develop your career. We also have a pretty competitive 5-a-side football team and even a corporate box at Norwich City Football Club!
I began as a Technical Specification Assistant (sales support) in 2015 and later took on a field based position as Technical Specification Manager, which is a business development role, managing a sales territory and working to targets. I learned a lot during this time, during which an opportunity came up to move back in the office and run the sales support team. Because of my experience in both roles, I secured the job and I am now also training to complete my qualification in Frontline Management and ILM Level 3 award in Leadership & Management. Glazing Vision understands the potential of its staff and supports this through fantastic training opportunities.
I started working for this company in December 2013 in the Factory Operative role, I have worked in many different areas in the company including, wrap and pack, bonding, glazing and setting up the opening rooflights. My previous job in Poland was in electronic engineering and I am now an Electrical & Electronics Support Technician studying electrical & electronical engineering level 3, with an extended NVQ diploma. Glazing Vision is a great place to work and they have given me the chance to continue working in an area I enjoy.
