Job Title: Management Accountant

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent Position – Glazing Renovations, Mildenhall

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

The Role:

As this is a small Company, the tasks will cover all ledger positions, including raising intercompany sales invoices/credit control / VAT returns / CIS returns, and monthly management accounts preparation.

  • ACCA, AAT or QBE
  • Good working understanding of the XERO accounting system.
  • Good working experience completing sales ledger/purchase ledger and credit control functions.
  • Experience in completing VAT / CIS returns for review before submission.
  • Experience in preparing Management accounts for review.
  • Good EXCEL and WORD skills.
  • Hardworking and “can do” attitude.
  • Must have a great eye for detail.

Reporting to

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Glazing Renovations.

The role

Management Accountant for Glazing Renovations but will be completing all financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing various WIP schedules for the monthly Management Accounts.
  • To keep the sales ledger up to date and actively chase any outstanding debtors.
  • Receiving, inputting onto XERO and managing the process flow (authorisation) of all purchase invoices.
  • Reporting daily money in and ledger allocation.
  • Allocating payments on XERO
  • Monthly Bank reconciliation.
  • Raise weekly sales invoices to Glazing Vision for Installs, warranty repairs and “rework” invoices.
  • Raise ad-hoc invoices for servicing/maintenance agreements.

Salary and benefits

  • Up to £30k PA depending on experience.
